      1. Application & Welding Capability

      Q1: What workpieces and weld types are suitable for welding cobots?

      Our welding cobots are ideal for repetitive welding scenarios, including fillet welds, lap welds, circular welds and stitch welds. They are compatible with common metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum.

      For irregular workpieces or complex 3D weld seams, you can send us samples for free welding process evaluation and test welding.

      Q2: Is a safety fence required for collaborative welding robots?

      No traditional safety fencing is required. Collaborative robots are equipped with built-in force-sensitive collision stop function, enabling safe human-robot collaborative operation.

      Please note: welding curtains and fume extraction systems are still necessary to protect operators from arc light and welding fumes.

      Q3: Does the system support multi-pass welding and weaving welding?

      Yes. The system has a built-in process library for multi-pass welding and weaving welding. Multiple sets of welding parameters can be preset according to groove forms, meeting the requirements of thick plate and deep groove welding.

      Q4: Do operators need robot programming experience?

      No professional programming experience is required. The system adopts drag-and-drop teaching and a tablet-based visual interface, which fits welders' operating habits. Skilled welders can independently program welding tasks after half a day of training.

      Q5: Does the system support remote monitoring and debugging?

      Yes. The cloud-based remote management function allows you to view real-time production data including output, operation logs and welding parameters. Our technical engineers can also remotely optimize welding programs and troubleshoot common faults.

      3. Procurement, Sample Testing & Delivery

      Q6: Can we test welding samples before purchasing?

      We offer sample welding service. You can send your workpieces to us, and we will complete test welding, provide a welding inspection report and corresponding process solution for your confirmation before purchase.

      Q7: What is included in the standard welding cobot package? What is the lead time?

      The standard package includes a collaborative robot arm, special welding torch, welding power source, control system, operation terminal and basic consumable kit.

      For standard models, please consult our sales team for lead time. Customized solutions such as fixtures and positioners are also available.

      Q8: Can you customize fixtures and solutions according to our production line?

      We provide full-scene customization services. We can design positioning fixtures, positioners and welding workstations according to workpiece features and production line layout, delivering one-stop service from design to on-site commissioning.

      4. Training & After-sales Service

      Q9: Is operation training included after delivery?

      Yes. On-site operation training is provided along with installation and commissioning, covering teaching programming, parameter adjustment, daily maintenance and basic troubleshooting, to ensure frontline operators can use the system quickly.

      Q10: What is the response time for after-sales fault support?

      We have a localized after-sales system. Common problems are solved first via remote technical support. For major faults, we can arrange on-site service by engineers promptly to minimize production downtime.

      Q11: What is the typical payback period for a welding cobot?

      The typical payback period is 12–24 months, which varies by local welder salary, production shifts and workpiece batch size. We can provide a customized ROI calculation based on your actual production situation.

      Q12: Are there recurring software subscription fees?

      The basic control system is permanently free with no mandatory annual fees. Advanced functions such as seam tracking, production data statistics and multi-robot fleet management are available via optional subscription.
